sorry to bother you, and thanks for the positive comments the other day. i meant to reply straight away to thank you. sorry.
i am seriously thinking of taking up the guitar, probably not classical sorry again!!. i was just ask for some advice on any good books or teaching methods. cant really afford lessons!!
If not classical, then the cheapest way to learn is simply search the internet for information on chords and tab. There are plently of free resources if you look around, that don't require you to "sign up" for anything, such as this chord finder.
As for tuning the guitar, there are plenty of cheap (well, about £12) electronic tuners around that are easy to use, like the "Cherub".
